The Task

The need to unpack faulty (re-work) packages in the food and confectionery industry may be due to a number reasons, such as:

  • problems at packaging lines during start-ups
  • faulty coding
  • returned shipments
  • Over or under weights
  • damaged packing
  • etc.

The Solution

The PACK-SAVER Line of recovery equipment is designed to automatically separate a wide range of products from its wrapping material.

In most cases, powders and granules can be re-fed into the new packaging process. Solid products which are usually broken during the separation work mostly allow re-processing. This results in huge cost savings.

Only one operator will be needed to control a PACK-SAVER line. This is an important issue regarding pay-back of investment.

Various machine executions are available. The specific version depends on pack-size and needed capacity. Automatic infeed systems allow bulk feeding of poducts into large storages hoppers.
